RIAT website - looking for buyers

    *** Posted by claire ***
I have a website to sell - content, design, structure, domain, the lot.
Some of you may have seen it as it got 36,000 hits or so during the summer during the run up to RIAT.
    If you haven't seen it, have a look - it's www.airtattoo-2001.com.
I also have similar domains for 2002 and 2003, which will come as part of the package.
Does anybody know a good place to sell aviation domains?
If anybody is interested in finding out more for themselves, do contact me.
I'm Claire Northen and my email address is claire.northen@wvnewspapers.co.uk

    Hi Claire

Why do you want to sell ? It is pretty hard to make a buck with websites today and even harder to sell them and you never get anything that compares to the effort you put into it.
What pricetag are you looking for ? I this is a hosting problem, maybe we can help.

    Regards John Raahauge (RUN)

    Hi John

I'm actually making preliminary enquiries on behalf of the newspaper group I work for.

The website belongs to the Stamford Mercury, who ran it while RIAT was based at RAF Cottesmore.

Now that the event has moved back to Gloucester the Mercury has no direct links to the event and is not in the best of positions when it comes to provided local information, hence the hunt for a buyer.

We have six domains which will take the site forward into 2003, 40 or so technical pages and a number of other pages that will need updating in preparation for next year's event.

    Claire,

I like the website, but I am living in the US, so I wouldn't be in the best position to provide local information.
    Good luck with your sale.
